Our Tuesday Wimbledon Common class generally has lower numbers during the winter months, & so this year we've decided to put it on hold until next Spring. The last class will be on Tuesday 13th October.

The Bank Holiday Weekend

Saturday 29 August - Fit In The Park

Super-fit Claire will be taking both South Park Gardens & Wimbledon Park classes this Saturday. The classes will take place the following times (there are no sessions at 9.00am):

8.00am - 9.00am in South Park Gardens
9.30am - 10.30am in Wimbledon Park

Early riser? Head over to South Park Gardens. Meet in the middle of the park near the water fountain.

Prefer a lie in? Meet us in Wimbledon Park. We'll be training near the Revelstoke Road entrance car park.

Fancy a challenge? Join Claire in both parks & we'll only charge you for 1 class!

Children, partners, family & friends are all welcome to join us in both parks. As always, your class passes are valid at all of our locations.

Monday 31 August - Fit In The Park & Buggyfit

Unfortunately there will be no classes or Bootcamps on Bank Holiday Monday this weekend as the HA fitness team are spending some fun time with their families.

Our regular timetable resumes on Tuesday 1st September, kicking off with 6.15am Fit In The Park in South Park Gardens.

South Park Gardens Classes Cancelled on Monday

It is with a deeply saddened heart that we are making the following announcement.

There will be no HA fitness classes in South Park Gardens on Monday 13th July, including our 9.30am Buggyfit & 7.30pm Fit In The Park sessions.

We are respectfully cancelling these classes due to the incredibly sad lost of Molly Burdett, whose funeral will be taking place on that day.

Please get in touch if you would like to know the funeral details. In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations to be made to the ICU at St Georges. Please see Molly's Smile Fund Just Giving for details.

Our thoughts & love are with the Burdett family as they celebrate Molly's life on Monday.

Fit to Run Bootcamps

Running drills & strength training to improve your efficiency & speed. These Bootcamps are designed to help turn you into a better runner & also help prevent injury. Suitable for runners of all abilities. Whether you're working up to a 5K, or training for a marathon PB.

Monday Nights Are Back In South Park Gardens!

It was fantastic to see so many of you join us on Monday night in South Park Gardens!

Fit In The Park on a Monday night is a great way to start the week. We mix up cardio with strength training, burn calories, tone-up, boost energy levels & have fun!

So get those trainers on & join us at 7.30pm on Monday for a challenging outdoor workout. No need to book, just turn up.

Fitness Challenge For All Mums

THE CHALLENGE: You're invited to test your ambition, your willpower & your commitment to get fit for the summer. To loose weight, tone-up those wobbly bits & to feel strong & confident. All within 5 weeks.

If this challenge has your name on it, then our fat-burning, body-sculpting, energy-boosting classes are for you.

THE DETAILS: Come to 2 daytime classes (or 7.45 on Sat) a week, every week between 20 April to 23 May (5 weeks) & you’ll not only feel great, but we’ll give you a 10% discount off your next HA fitness pass. Come to 3 classes a week, & we’ll give you a 15% discount off your next pass!

All but 1 of the classes that are included in this challenge are all daytime sessions, & are all suitable for babies/toddlers/children to come along to (they remain your responsibility). So no need to worry about organising childcare.

Celebrate With Us This Saturday!

6 years ago, Kate joined me at HA fitness to help run the show while I was busy becoming a mum.

Kate rose to the challenge. She impressed my personal training clients with her tough workouts & wowed my Buggyfit mums with her knowledge. She was also a complete rock to me, being a mum of 2 herself, she was so supportive & full of help & advice.

When I was ready to come back to work, there was absolutely no way I was going to loose Kate. So we expanded our classes & shared the work between us.

Our reputation began to grow & we were asked to set up some outdoor fitness classes in South Park Gardens. Over a few glasses of wine, we decided to go for it. Kate got busy planning some tough sessions, whilst I paced the streets convincing people that Fit In The Park at 6.15am was actually a good idea!

Although Kate now lives in Kent, we're so lucky that she makes the journey to Wimbledon twice a week to run some amazing sessions for us, including her iconic Saturday 9am class.

So come celebrate with us this Saturday as we bring ALL of our kit into South Park Gardens for our 9am Fit In The Park session. We'll workout hard, have some fun & celebrate Kate's 6th year at HA fitness. All levels & abilities welcome.

Catch A Little Spring Fever!

A little bit more sunshine, a little bit more warmth & a little bit more daylight. Spring is on its way!

There are so many natural motivators to exercise at this time of year. You just need to get outside & tap into them.

Fresh air will boost your energy levels. Sunny skies will lift your mood. And the new colours bursting through will make you smile. It's time to start-up, shake-up & step-up your workouts.

Plan which classes you'll be doing this week from our timetable. If you need a new pass, buy one now while you're feeling inspired.

It's only cold if you stand still

Some of my best workout memories are of when we're out there, battling against the elements.
 
You feel invincible, invigorated & pumped with energy. Nothing quite beats it & you just want more.
 
Yesterday, at 6.15am, we charged across South Park Gardens, leaving crazy footprints in the fresh snow. Later on in the morning, our Buggyfit mums powerwalked across a sparkling white Wimbledon Common, with the little ones all tucked up in their buggies.
 
So although we'd prefer it to be dry & sunny, there's still loads of fun to be had outside during the winter months.
 
Wrap up in warm layers & wear gloves & a hat. Remove a layer when you start to sweat & put it back on again if you start to feel chilly.
 
If you wait for the perfect conditions, you'll never get anything done. Somedays you just have to make your own little bit of sunshine.

1 Day Running Bootcamp: Drills and Skills

Need some motivation to run? Want to improve your speed? Want to improve your efficiency? Want to stay injury free?

We're running a 75 minute Running Bootcamp in Wimbledon Park this Saturday at 9am. This session is suitable for intermediate runners who are training to do distances between 10K & the marathon. It maybe your first time at this distance, or you maybe looking to improve a previous time.

Our Trainer, Claire, ran a personal best at the London Marathon last year at 2hrs 45 minutes & was 6th non-elite woman across the finish line. But don't feel intimidated by her swiftness, Claire is brilliant at helping all levels of runners from beginners through to advanced.

Claire's not only a formidable runner, she's an amazing Personal Trainer & Running Coach. She'll first observe & evaluate your running & then work with you to improve your efficiency & speed. Not only will this help you to become a better runner, it'll also reduce your chances of getting injured.

New Saturday Blast Class

We've had quite a number of you ask us to put on an earlier Saturday class. So starting on 10th January, we'll be running a 7.45 to 8.30am Blast Class in South Park Gardens. This is a full body workout in just 45 minutes! We'll meet in the middle of the park near the drinking fountain (the Trinity Road gate will be open).

So if your Saturday mornings mean you can't always get to our 9am sessions, we're getting up a little bit earlier to make sure you don't miss out on your HA fitness workout!

Your class passes & pay-as-you-go are all valid & newcomers will be made very welcome.
