The Christmas Countdown Has Begun!

Life is going to get busy with parties, school plays, shopping & the usual work/life balance stuff.

But don't let the next 6 weeks slip away into the festive madness. Commit to your health, your fitness and your workouts. You'll feel much better for it. And you'll also be so much more confident wearing that little black dress (slim-fit designer shirt for the guys?)

It's time to plan ahead, commit & book your workouts into your diary now. Check out our timetable & BootCamps coming up in November and December!

Thursday Morning Buggyfit is Evolving

We've heard that some of our Wimbledon Park Buggyfit mums find the Thursday 12 noon finish time a bit tricky. We've also had feedback that a few non-postnatal ladies are interested in joining the class too.

So, from Thursday 27th November, this class will be a Blast Class, suitable for postnatal mums & anyone else who'd like to come along. Babies & children more than welcome to come & play, gurgle, eat & sleep (we don't mind a bit of noise either).

The class will start at 11.00am, meeting in front of the cafe in Wimbledon Park.  You'll have the option to leave either at 11.45am or 12noon, depending on you & your little ones schedule.

The New Club...

Many of you have been saying that you'd like to come to our early Wimbledon Park sessions, but when the alarm goes off, it's all too easy to roll over & hide under the duvet.

So we've set-up the Don't Hit Snooze, Grab Your Shoes Club!

It's all about motivating each other to get out of bed & into the Park. You can find out who is going to which classes & tell everyone which ones you'll be committing to.

It's very informal. To join, all you have to do is email me saying that you'd like to share your email address with other people who come to the 6.15am Wimbledon Park sessions. You'll then be able to join in the chat & get motivated!

We're rolling it out in Wimbledon Park. But if you think this would work for you in South Park Gardens, drop me a line & I'll set it up.

Revelstoke Road Car Park - Important Notice

buggyfit_logo.jpg

If you're coming to our Wimbledon Park Buggyfit class this week, you won't be able to park in the Revelstoke Road car park due to the preparations for the firework display. Try the top car park on Church Road (near Wimbledon Tennis) or park on the nearby streets. Some roads are free during Buggyfit classes. Others are £1.10 per hour between 11.00am - 3.00pm. A full list can be found on the council website. All back to normal next week.

Don't forget you can also come to our Tuesday class on Wimbledon Common at 10.30am where there is a huge free car park!

We try really hard to get our class timetable to be just how you want it. Recently you've asked us for:

- More Fit Kit Sessions using different pieces of equipment like the ViPR & TRX: We've got one in Wimbledon Park next Thursday (see Fit Kit Drills to book).

- More BootCamps: Our 2 week HIIT BootCamp starts on Sat at 8am in South Park Gardens (book now as places are limited).

- Early morning sessions to finish at both 7.00am & 7.15am (there was a slight difference of opinion between our clients!): Now you can choose whether you leave at 7.00am or 7.15am (45 or 60 min sessions). See our timetable for a full list of dates & times.

- Class start times not to be delayed by latecomers: We're starting & finishing all of our classes on time now, so get the most out of your session & be there with us on time too. If you're running late, don't worry, we won't turn you away - although there maybe a few penalty burpees!

- Fitness Tests: We will be offering free fitness tests in Wimbledon Park & South Park Gardens. Dates to be posted on facebook & our website by the end of this week.

- 8am Saturday morning sessions in South Park Gardens: We start in October!

Why not head over to our facebook page & tell us what you'd like to see at our classes & how we can improve your timetable.

4 HA fitness classes left in 2013!!

Mon: 6.15am, Fit In The Park, Wimbledon Park
Mon: 9.30am, Buggyfit, South Park Gardens
Mon: 7.15pm, Fit In The Park, South Park Gardens
Tue: 9.15am, Charity Class, South Park Gardens

Our Mon night class will be going ahead at 7.15pm, however due to the school being closed, we will run it in South Park Gardens (meet at the Trinity Road entrance).

There will be NO Buggyfit on Tue, Wimbledon Common

We'd love to see as many people as possible at our last class in South Park Gardens on Christmas Eve (9.15am on Tue). Including all of our personal training clients, Wimbledon Park ladies, the South Park Gardens group & our Buggyfit mums. It'd be fantastic to see some new faces there too (feel free to bring along any random relatives that are staying!).

No cards will be ticked, just throw some cash into Santa's hat at the end. All of the money will be donated to Great Ormond Street Hospital.

Don't forget to wear something festive. Mince pies at the end for those who work really hard!

We start up again, with a full class timetable on Thursday 2nd January 2014!

We'd like to wish you & your family a Happy Christmas & fantastic 2014!

Thank you so much for your support & friendship in 2013.

Very best wishes,

Heather

All eyes on us

With the Tennis Championships heading our way, SW19 will soon become the sporting focus of the world again.

During this busy fortnight (24th June to 7th July), all of our classes will continue to run as normal. However, we'll be keeping well out of the way of the happy campers in Wimbledon Park by training at the top end of the park. Come in through the Revelstoke Road entrance & turn left. We'll be slightly up the hill to the left of the tennis courts.

We recommend giving your workout an extra boost by walking, running or cycling to Wimbledon Park when the tennis is on. With the usual 2 car parks closed & no parking on the local roads, your best option is to come on foot or by bike.

All of our other classes in Wimbledon Common & South Park Gardens should be unaffected, although the traffic may be a bit heavier. Surprisingly, the Windmill car park on Wimbledon Common never gets too busy, so no problem with parking for Buggyfit on Tuesdays & Fridays.

Don't let this put you off though. We've got some great classes planned & would really love to see you there. You may even bump into some famous faces!

Do you have any visitor parking permits for Wimbledon/Southfields/SW19?

Despite being a small business in the area, we're unable to get parking permits for the tennis fortnight. We'd therefore really appreciate it if anyone has a visitor permit that they could give or lend to us (with lots of kit & many sessions to train, it's not so easy to leave the car behind).

If you can help, please get in touch & we'll arrange to pick it up.

Many thanks!
Heather

You ask, we deliver!

We love to make you happy. That's our goal in life. So we're making a couple of changes to our timetable that are simply what you asked us to do.

First of all we're changing our early bird Thursday class in South Park Gardens from 6.30am to 6.15am, so that you can fit it in before work (or before the person-looking-after-the-kids has to go to work). So set your alarm for early every Thursday starting this week (7th February) and come along for a challenging workout at dawn!

Secondly we're adding a new class to the timetable. Join us every Friday in South Park Gardens at 9.30am for Fit In The Park. These classes are suitable for all levels and abilities. A great end to the week!

Also, don't forget about our Love Life Boot Camp this Saturday, so that you can spruce up your body in time for Valentine’s Day! As for previous Boot Camps, the 1st session will start at 8am & the 2nd at 9am. Come to either session or join us for the full 2 hours. No need to book, just meet us in the park at either 8am or 9am.

We've got an even bigger announcement to make about Wimbledon Park. Look out for our next newsletter!

Just to re-cap:
    •    Our Thursday Fit In The Park class in South Park Gardens now starts at 6.15am.
    •    We have a new Friday Fit In The Park class at 9.30am in South Park Gardens
    •    Our Love Life Boot Camp is this Saturday!

Happy training!

Heather
