Jane Brooks

After completing a Sports Science degree I moved into the administration side of the sports industry.  Over the years I have worked as a Personal Assistant for professional golfers at IMG, as well as at BBC Sport, the RFU and the 2015 Rugby World Cup.

I discovered yoga classes at my gym about 10 years ago and have been practising ever since.  I enjoy the increased sense of well-being and how it can complement other sporting interests.  I personally felt the real benefits of yoga when I picked up a calf injury playing tennis and noticed how it aided my recovery.  As a result, during a career break in 2016, I completed a 200 hr teacher training course with Shanti Power Yoga.

I like to teach flowing vinyasa-style classes that provide a challenge for all levels, but are also enjoyable, with a well-deserved Savasana (relaxation) at the end.
