A total body conditioning BootCamp just in time for the summer!

Antonio will show you how to use your body as a tool to create lean muscle mass. Teaching you how to increase resistance to challenge, build and sculpt your muscles. As there’s no fancy gym equipment, you’ll learn techniques and movements that you can take away with you (so there’s no excuses not to practice at home!).

Each exercise can be adjusted to make you feel comfortable or push you to your limit!

We’d love to welcome, motivate and encourage people of all abilities at these sessions. Drop us a line if youre like to have a chat about how it could work for you.

Mum and Baby Cardio Tone BootCamp

Our trained jazz dancer and fitness instructor, Laura, is back with a new course for Spring 2019! We’re delighted to offer our first specialised indoor post-natal workout for both Mum and baby, allowing mums to exercise to music whilst also giving baby a sensory and fun adventure at the same time!

Join us for…

  • Resistance work using bands and mat-based body weight exercises to strengthen muscles and address postural imbalance

  • Core work to strengthen deep abdominal muscles and the pelvic floor

  • Low impact, high intensity cardio intervals to encourage sustainable weight loss

  • Gentle stretching to ease muscle tightness

Babies can join mum and/or play on the mat nearby.

You will need to bring your own mat. Please feel free to bring a bouncy chair, bumbo or similar along with some toys and a towel or muslin for baby to lie on. Please note your baby remains your responsibility throughout the session.

Who is the course suitable for?

The course will be suitable for babies up to one year/walking. Once they’ve worked out what their legs are capable of, they may be keener to run at our Fit In The Park (FITP) – Family classes and join in the action there!

What are the benefits?

  • Low intensity exercise will help you feel less tired.

  • Exercising boosts your energy levels and releases wonderful feel-good endorphins.

  • You are able to get fit and entertain baby at the same time!

  • A small group setting - with space for just 8 clients (and their babies) there will be the opportunity to discuss post-natal fitness with Laura and set a goal or focus over the course so that she can cater to each of your individual needs.

Whilst we cannot promote the benefits of outdoor fitness enough, this particular course during the changing seasons will keep baby warm without a speck of mud in sight!

Where: The Gooseberry Bush Studio (above the café) 115 Kington Road, Wimbledon SW19 1LT.

The Gooseberry Bush Cafe is a lovely welcoming place which is great for socialising afterwards as well as offering excellent baby changing facilities.

When: Every Wednesday for 5 weeks from 24th April to 22nd May 2019.

Time: 9.30-10.30am

Cost: £65 for the 5 sessions. If you miss a session, you're welcome to make it up at one of HA fitness’s regular Fit In The Park classes.

BoxFit Pop-Up Easter Sessions - Wimbledon

Antonio is running 4 BoxFit Pop-Up sessions over the Easter holidays. These are a great way for our regular boxers to keep up thier training. We’d also warmly welcome anyone who is new to BoxFit to come and give it a go, without commiting to a whole course.

BoxFit is a ultra-calorie burning workout that’s guaranteed to get your heart pumping. Using boxing pads and gloves, you'll work your whole body, whilst challenging your strength, speed and endurance. It's lots of fun and a great stress buster too!

N.B. We need to confirm with both halls for these sessions in advance. We therefore have a cut-off of 31 March to book places (If after this date, we have enough interest, and spaces available, we may extend the booking deadline).

Now that half term is nearly over and the signs of Spring are starting to peek through, it's time to come out of hiding and treat yourself to a BootCamp!

Cardio Pilates - Garfield School, Wimbledon

An invigorating fusion of classic Pilates movements and fat-burning cardio exercises.

Sophie is excited to launch our new 6-week Cardio Pilates BootCamp every Tuesday night from 26th February. Sophie is a qualified Pilates instructor (BASI) and experienced HA fitness personal trainer.

Our Cardio Pilates course is about building whole-body strength and flexibility as well as improving cardio fitness and burning loads of calories too!

HIIT BootCamp - Are You Up For It?

With our BootCamps, Buggyfit and Fit In The Park classes all getting off to an awesome start this week (thank you!), we're now focusing on our HIIT BootCamps

We get the impression that a few of you are nervous about signing up, so here's a few answers to some of the questions you've been asking us.

What exactly is HIIT?
High Intensity Interval Training. Basically doing short intense sets followed by short rests. And repeating. It's a proven form of training that delivers results fast!

How does the BootCamp work?

Training over 5 consecutive mornings, we'll focus on different muscle groups each day, combining strength, cardio and endurance for maximum burn. We'll get you to do a wide variety exercises (probably including a few burpees) to keep your mind and muscles guessing. 

The sessions start at 6.15am, so you can do it all before work, and before the rest of the family gets up. Just give us everything you've got for 45 minutes, everyday, for 5 days!

But I'm new to BootCamps / not very fit?

Don’t worry there’s a first time for everyone. We'll introduce you to some of our regulars (a few of them have been coming for years!), and our Instructors will always be on hand to make sure you know what you're doing.

We offer different levels to suit all abilities. Beginners, weekend warriors and serious fitness freaks will all be catered for. It'll be fast, furious and fun, all at the same time. 

What if I miss a session?

No problem. You can make up a class at one of our regular Fit In The Park or Buggyfit sessions.

What do I wear/bring?

Dress for the weather, with lots of layers. You may start off a bit chilly, but you'll soon warm up, so it's good to be able to take a things off as you get going.

Bring a mat if you have one, we have some spares if you don't. And remember to bring a water bottle, so that you can replenish what you sweat off!

Monday - Friday: 6.15 - 7.00am

Wimbledon Park: 
Class Pass Holders: £27 (plus 2 sessions off your class pass)
Non-Class Pass Holders: £45

Happy New Year from WIMBLEDON BUGGYFIT!

We’re back in the park from tomorrow (Thurs 3rd Jan) for some great postnatal workouts with your little ones.

If you’re new to Buggyfit, we meet every Monday and Thursday at the following times:

9.30am in South Park Gardens
11.00am in Wimbledon Park.

We've been running Buggyfit classes in Wimbledon for nearly 13 years now, so we know what we're doing when it comes to getting new mums back into shape again!

We offer FREE taster sessions. And once you've tried us out, you're then welcome to drop-in to any of our classes with no prior booking required. We have a really flexible and reasonably priced class pass system. We have no joining fees or monthly contracts. Perfectly suited for the unpredictable lifestyle of a new mum!

Cardio Dance - St Barnanas Church, Southfields

A Cardio Dance BootCamp for fitness fanatics, fitness haters and music lovers. This is the perfect fusion of exercise and dance, for all levels!

We’re really excited to launch a class that highlights the wide range of skills that our lovely new fitness instructor, Laura, brings to HA fitness. Her new Cardio Dance programme offers a fun and challenging workout encompassing:

  • A full body warm-up

  • A dance/aerobics section to improve cardiovascular fitness, coordination and agility - building on routines and learning new sections of choreography each week

  • Mat-based work to improve muscular strength and endurance (please bring a mat or towel)

  • Cool down and developmental stretching to improve flexibility

  • All set to an energetic and motivating soundtrack!

Modifications can be offered for pre/post-natal clients.

Friends With Benefits!

Our Friends With Benefits campaign starts today!

This means that you can bring up to 3 friends along to any of our Buggyfit or Fit In The Park classes in December, for FREE!

You can bring 3 separate friends or the same friend 3 times. All we ask is that you have a valid HA fitness Class Pass (either 10 or 20) and that your friend has not come to any of our classes in 2018.

If they are an old client, who has come to classes in previous years, then bring them back into the fold, we'd love to see them again!

If they are brand new to HA fitness, then now is definitely the time to introduce them to the great stuff we do!

There's no need to register beforehand, just come along to the class with your friends. They will need to complete one of our Health Forms before the class starts (you can download one here)
