Welcome to our new HA trainer, Jane Brooks!

I'm delighted to welcome Jane Brooks to the HA fitness team!

Jane is going to be running our 6.15am Strengthen, Stretch & Restore (yoga) classes in our Wimbledon Village studio on Thursday mornings. We start this week!

Why not treat your body and mind to a really special kind of workout?

At 6.15am you may walk into the studio feeling stiff and sleepy. But by 7.00am your body will glow with openness and energy! These sessions may also help to reduce stress and anxiety, so that you can start your day feeling calm, grounded and ready for anything. There are so many benefits to an early morning yoga practice. Come and find out for yourself!

The level is mixed, from beginners to the experienced yogic. We warmly welcome both men and women to join us. What have you got to lose!?

A Little About Jane...

After completing a Sports Science degree Jane moved into the administration side of the sports industry.  Over the years she has worked as a Personal Assistant for professional golfers at IMG, as well as at BBC Sport, the RFU and the 2015 Rugby World Cup.

Jane discovered yoga about 10 years ago and has been practicing ever since. This is what she says about her own practice:

"I enjoy the increased sense of well-being and how it can complement other sporting interests. I personally felt the real benefits of yoga when I picked up a calf injury playing tennis and noticed how it aided my recovery.  As a result, during a career break in 2016, I completed a 200 hr teacher training course with Shanti Power Yoga.

I like to teach flowing vinyasa-style classes that provide a challenge for all levels, but are also enjoyable, with a well-deserved Savasana (relaxation) at the end."

Kettlebells BootCamp In South Park Gardens - 2 Class Special!

Due to popular demand, we've added 2 more Wednesday night Kettlebells sessions onto the timetable!

These 2 sessions will challenge your cardio system, muscular strength & endurance. Your core will be fired up and your glutes will be switched on big time. In other words, you'll burn calories and sculpt your whole body, all in one go!

We're limiting the numbers, so that we can give you individual attention based on your experience and ability. So make sure you don't miss out, and book your place today!

We will try to put on 2 classes for both evenings, but if we don't get the numbers (we know a lot of you are away), there will be just one class at the earlier time:

If you book and can't get to the session for some reason, you're welcome to make it up at one of our regular Fit In The Park classes. Please note that our Boot Camps are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Buggyfit - Free Trials Until The End Of June!

We're celebrating this lovely weather offering free trials at our Buggyfit classes until the end of June. Come and give it a go!

Wimbledon Buggyfit has been coaching SW19 postnatal mums back into shape for over 11 years. And we’ve got pretty good at it!

Join us with your little one and you’ll get great results through dynamic and effective workouts, specifically designed for the postnatal woman. We’ll help you to burn off any unwanted excesses as well as strengthen and tone your whole body.

All of our classes can be adapted to individual needs or fitness levels. You’ll be encouraged to workout at your own level (whether you’re a complete beginner or experienced athlete).

The best thing is, you can bring your baby along with you to enjoy the fresh air and natural surroundings. It’s also a great way to make new friends too!

We’re offering free trial sessions until the end of June. Once you’ve tried us out, you're then welcome to either join us on a drop-in basis or purchase one of our class passes (from £6.50 a class), offering you complete flexibility with no joining fee or commitment. Our class passes can be used at any of our classes including our general Fit In The Park sessions.
